I believe that the cornerstones of high-quality healthcare are the professionalism, experience and reliability of the physicians, combined with patient adherence. As the most important thing, I regard patient safety.

I have been working at the Riga Maternity Hospital since 1999. Since 2013, I have been practising fetal ultrasonography and invasive fetal examination (chorion biopsy, amniocentesis)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Riga Stradiņš University. I organize seminars and courses for Latvian gynaecologists.

I myself have attended European international postgraduate training courses in Hungary, Switzerland, Sweden, and Great Britain; I have acquired specialisation in the Royal Clinic in Copenhagen and in the clinics of Ljubljana, Leuven, Bergen, and King’s College.
