Hospital care

At the Riga Maternity Hospital, the hospital care is provided by the Unit of Pathology of Pregnancy and Prenatal Care.

You will have to be treated in the hospital at the Unit of Pathology of Pregnancy and Prenatal Care:

• In cases of pregnancy complications of the 22^nd pregnancy week without a serious co-morbidity;
• With birth precursors;
• With a premature amniotic fluid leak;
• For induction of labour in the case of prolonged pregnancy;
• For preparation for elective caesarean operations;
• For resolving pregnancy issues in the case of fetal developmental anomalies.

During the stay in the hospital, the patients have the option of choosing an increased comfort ward for an extra charge.
