Due to the onset of the influenza epidemic in Latvia and the increase in the incidence of Covid-19 and other acute infections of the upper respiratory tract in Riga, and keeping in mind the best interests of the new mothers and their newborns, the visit of the patients is only permitted to one person without symptoms of infectious diseases at a time.

Visits by children up to the age of 12, including when the child is accompanying the patient to outpatient consultations or ultrasound examinations, is not permitted at the Riga Maternity Hospital, unless the child is the patient.
