Postpartum rooms
Each customer of the Maternity Hospital can choose in which room to stay after delivery. Postpartum rooms are both free of charge - occupied by several mothers together and individual and family rooms with an extra comfort. Postpartum rooms with extra comfort are offered against payment.
Postpartum rooms cannot be reserved in advance!
- Postpartum rooms without extra service
If you don't want to pay for extra service, you have the opportunity to spend the postpartum period either in a small single room with WC and shower provided for several wards or in a double or triple room with other mothers. In these rooms, WC with a shower is provided for one ward. In free of charge postpartum rooms, a close person's stay opportunity outside the reception hours is determined by the Maternity Hospital (from 12.00 a.m. till 19.30).
- A bed in the room with extra service
You can choose the bed in a double room or single room with WC and a shower provided for one room. Extra service in the room: a close person’s to the patient stay is available, while a double room can be used as a single room.
The charge for the stay in this postpartum room is 15.00 EUR per bed day. If you want to stay in a double room alone and not with another mother, the charge for the stay in the room will be € 30.00 per bed day.
For an additional price of 30.00 EUR per bed day, a close person’s to the patient stay is available around the clock including a 24-hour pass to visit the patient.
- The family ward with extra service
In the family ward, WC with a shower is provided for one ward. Extra service in the ward: stay of a close person in the room and provision of an additional equipment - refrigerator, or the possibility to use Wi-Fi.
The charge for this room is 60.00 EUR per bed day. The price includes a close person’s to the patient stay in the room around the clock and 24-hour pass to visit the patient.
Changing the postpartum room upon the client’s request is a payable service – 15.00 EUR. The charge for changing the room is not applied in cases where the client is required to change the postpartum room due to justified reasons.
